These are just freshly painted , they are French militia for the French Indian Wars in N. America . They are Galloping Major models and although a bit chunky they match well with the Redoubt figures I already have . I've been using the 'Musket & Tomahawk' rules for this period and they give a excellent solo game - being card driven and a random scenario selection system .
Great painting there. I did have a load of FIW in 15mm. May have to dig them out and re-watch Last of the Mohicans.
