Just got these figures off Ebay , think they are Britains hollow-casts and will add a touch of rural life to my 54mm games . Clarrie Grundy and Walter Gabriel perhaps ?
Tony, Just included two of the same farm ladies in a war-game yesterday. They do add to the visual spectacle. I also have one of the cart drivers, but still to replace its left arm. often missing or damaged. Michael
Hi Tony- Some while back I had a mate who specialized in Britains Hollow Cast- Robin had everything Britains ever made- certainly one of the largest collections I've ever seen. Enjoy your Farmers. Cheers. KEV.
Lovely figures which will enhance your gaming!
ReplyDeleteThey are rather quaint aren't they .
DeleteI am looking forward to seeing those restored to glossy glory.
ReplyDeleteThink I will to do a limited repaint and a varnish .

ReplyDeleteIt surprises me how many are still about , they most have produced thousands of the back then .
DeleteVery nice couple Tony! They look well-loved, but they still have a lot of their original paint! Well done!
ReplyDeleteYes he's better than she is , will try overpainting and matching the colours as best I can .
