Thornton's Light Horse.

I've got the home cast eBay cavalry figures painted and gloss varnished . The uniform of course is fictitious, but based on the full dress U.S. cavalry of the late nineteenth century. I want them to be able to be used by any of the factions  in my imaginary Balkans conflict  so they are part of a mercenary force run by the American soldier of fortune Hiram Thornton , I may be adding a second squadron to them in due time .

  3. Lovely Tony...
Not a unit of painted toy soldiers that you see very often.... if at all. ;-)

    All the best. Aly

  5. Nicely done!

I have the bits in hand for just such a unit in 54mm but it is already months behind schedule already and still months away from being done.
