Well I've got the second company of the Prussian Fusilier Regt. Prinz Heinrich Von Prussia .finished and have just been giving them a coat of varnish , this means my backlog of undercoated figures has been finally completed ! - what next to do?
Yes, lovely miniatures there. Do you find that a single coat of the varnish does it? How easy is it to apply? As for what to do next? Why, paint another unit of course!
The varnish I use is fairly heavy duty (yacht varnish ) and I just apply one coat using a big brush , I'm casting up a couple of standard bearers and a 2 in Command - then the final company .
Looking good! Congratulations on completing your figure backlog!
ReplyDeleteTook some gritting of teeth and buckling down ! but sorted now !
DeleteThey are fine figures.
ReplyDeleteThey have turned out well - the coat of varnish covers a multitude of sins .
