Just noticed my last few posts have returned to normal levels of hits/viewings, has Big Brother got tired of my endless ramblings ? , have I broken something - "does not compute ***** bzzzz !" anyway back to the O.S. FPW battle in the next posting .
Unfortunately, my blog is still getting whacked, although the hit numbers are down from the peak. Maybe given a bit more time mine will return to the norm as well.
My view counter returned to normal on October 1st. While it might have been ego feeding to think that 15,000 people were reading my blog posts, the reality is that I had no idea of how much real traffic my posts were getting. It is more useful feedback to know that 50 or 300 people are viewing one of my posts because it gives me some idea about what my viewers want to read or have no interest in. I suppose that the bots are giving us all a false sense of security as they make ready for the next wave of attacks in November.
Mine have dropped from over 1200 on my mid September post to 72 for my latest. Good riddance I say! I doubt they were people you would want to take tea with!
Mine too. Back to 3 views instead of 23!
ReplyDeleteThey have lost interest in wargaming ?
DeleteIndeed, same here, numbers of views dropped back to normal on 2nd Oct. Maybe the bots got bored and now prefer model railways?😀
ReplyDeleteBig Brother got bored with us ......
DeleteRobots have no loyalty Tony! Not like the devoted followers of your most excellent blog!
ReplyDeleteThink I've bored them to death!?

ReplyDeleteI don't think they have done any harm , but slightly annoying.
DeleteMine stopped on 30th September! Since then, things have returned to normal.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Bob

ReplyDeleteI suspect not even people - I wonder what they made of our blogs ??/
DeleteI'm sure they need a few nanoseconds to comprehend all the glory they've obtained from the wargamers.
