Pleased to say I've got my first unit of Cavalry done , they are of course Prussian Uhlans.
I had to do a conversion for an Officer, I cut the lance away , drilled out the hand and glued in a flattened pin for a sword . Uhlans must be my favorite Prussian Cavalry , coming up next some French Hussars .
An iconic unit, and a must have, for any Prussian army from 1870 to 1914: lovely!
ReplyDeleteNothing says Prussian like a Uhlan !
DeleteA beautiful group indeed, Tony, really well done! I look forward to seeing their opposition!
ReplyDeleteThank you , I enjoyed painting them.
DeleteLovely! Very nicely done and it wouldn't be a Prussian army without Uhlans! Look forward to seeing the French Hussars.
ReplyDeleteThanks, the French Hussars await varnishing.
DeleteThose look great!

DeleteThey do look great, hope to see them in table-top action soon!
ReplyDeleteHopefully a game is getting nearer.
