The Quest for the Jade Buddha (the prologue).

 

The scene of the first action , the White forces on the table edge nearest the camera and the Chinese Warlord army on the far edge .

The rules being used , simple and quick to use and the chance cards and order dice make it ideal for solo play.

The White Force, on the left a 'Officer unit (Elite) an Line unit and 3 Militia units (Poor). At the rear is a unit of Cossacks .

The Warlord Force , in the front a 'Dare to Die' unit (Elite), a SMG Assault unit with flag, in the second line 3 infantry units (count as Militia) and a Mongolian cavalry unit in the rear .

The mission of the two forces is to gather intellegence about the whereabouts of the lost 'Jade Buddha' an object of great value and political significance which has been lost/stolen and could be used as a force to "Set the East Ablaze" . There are three objectives to capture  - in the ruined temple an enigmatic Priest .

In the village- a mysterious stranger.....

In the derilict cabin in the woods - the slain messenger . To capture an objective a unit must move onto the location and remain there two moves to secure the objective (what information each objective will contain I haven't worked out yet - I'm making this up as I go along) The game will last eight turns.
