Got the six semi-flat 40mm homecast Saxon Jaegers painted up , I've had to add the rifle slings with nylon twine as I couldn't get them to cast properly .
They are very semi-flat indeed but I'm not bothered by that , They have a lot of detail on them and have painted up well .
They will be joining the Army of Fetaland as a unit of sharpshooters under the 'A Gentleman's War' rules counting as skirmishers and good shots .
Excellent paint and twine work which will make these splendid fellows fight even better.
ReplyDeleteThe rifle slings were a pain to do but look good now .
DeleteThey look pretty darned good to me!
ReplyDeleteNo flatter than the trees behind them......or playing with PA 18thC figures might have inured me to the sight. In any case, when playing solo I often find myself standing between the armies rather than behind them.
Yes I'm happy to mix semi flats with "fuller" figures
DeleteLovely looking toys Tony...
ReplyDeleteAll the best. Aly
Thanks I enjoy painting bigger scale figures .
DeleteMore shiny goodness. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThe shine hides a multitude of sins : )
