Do you get it ?

Been painting the odd base or two for my '45' project.

  1. Te flag looks similar to the international signal "W" (for whisky), which means "I need medical assistance" - or "bring more medicine". Having checked, I think that's not correct, so I'm not sure. Nice figures - like them.

    1. It's the Glenfinnan standard that was reputed to be flown when Charles Edward Stuart raised the clans on landing on mainland Scotland .

  2. It used to be illegal to have water on the table at the time of the Loyal Toast in certain Scottish officers' messes, to prevent charged glasses being passed "over the water". For all I know, it probably still is.

    Regards, Chris.
