To appose the Prussian Jaeger I've got these Francs tireurs done, again Irregular Miniatures.
They are actually a mixture of figures , the Officer is from the ACW range and the riflemen are Garibaldi figures from the Italian War of Independence . The Francs tireurs seem to wear a mixture of uniforms so these are ideal for them , I'll be getting the other half of the unit with my next order.
Very nice work and the different uniforms work out really well.

DeleteVery nice! Looking at these, I’m almost sorry that I chose a different path for my Franco-Prussian project. (I’ll be using Schneider home castg molds for a vintage toy look…)

DeleteIt has taken several years of diligent stalking of eBay to produce a wargamable set including foot, horse, and guns, but now that I have, the sky (and painting time) is the limit. 😀
