Timber !

I have been using my 40mm figures a lot lately and have started feeling the need for more terrain , so I ordered some more 2D MDF trees off EBay to match the ones I already have . I also ordered some bases for them - went for EXTRA large ones this time to stop them falling over . I cut up some small square bases to provide support for the trunks.

I then painted all the leaves a dark green and went around the edges with a lighter green - this took forever ! . I then painted the bases to match my tabletop .

Here we see the finished trees , I went for the 4" tall ones this time to add a bit of variety , the original 6" ones are in the process of being rebased to the larger circles and need the bases finishing off .

  3. Hi Tony- you can never have enough trees- they look good. I'm near to making some 6mm Trees down the track- probably from polystyrene. Cheers. KEV.
