Lovely find,so true.Btw what did you use to undercoat your flats? Can you offer me any advice starting out to paint my first ones?
I used a mid-brown acrylic paint as I've run out of spray paint .
I know that Squid Loader has a considerable following but I always thought it a ghastly game.
Never owned it , have played the base game once - very popular in it's time -with some people .
Played SL when it first came out, when you actually did play small unit actions. Then it became "big"--never again. Funny find: thanks for sharing (much needed)!
Think it was the basic one I played , we used figures instead of counters I think ?
So true! Like Ed, above, I played the original series a lot but never made the leap to ASL.
My friend 'A' says they did a lot of very good scenarios .
Wonder if it's still on the go ?
Yup...😁I always got the feeling that fighting the real war was actually a bit shorter than the game...All the best. Aly
And perhaps a lot simpler as well !
