The Walkers on holiday.

Whilst on holiday Mr Walker takes Mrs Walker to visit Missolonghi Bay *, the location where Lord Bygone came ashore to help the Helenyka Republic in their struggle to free themselves from the Sublime Porte .

They finally find the exact place - Mr Walker is ecstatic and very impressed ! - Mrs Walker seems less so - in fact she complains the lack of a cafe or ice cream van !

Lord Bygone swears an oath to defend the independence of the Republic of Helenyka (painting on the works of Ludovico Lipparini )

  3. Hi Tony,

Splendid post! Mrs Walker’s immediate concern regarding the lack of an ice cream van or café is dead accurate for a proper British holiday outing!

    All the best, Andy

    2. Haha, dead right! No jam and clotted cream in sight—Lord Bygone clearly needs to sort out his logistical priorities for the next excursion!

      All the best, Andy

  6. Although I appreciate an unspoiled and non-commercialized spot of historical significance as much as the next fellow, I would tend to agree with Mrs Walker: what a great spot for an ice cream stand!
