Another seasonal postcard with Toy Soldiers . I admire the hats worn by the participants , perhaps I need to start wearing a hat whilst gaming ? . The serried ranks are about to be mown down by grapeshot , if I was the other chap I'd be getting out of the way to avoid getting shot !, again a sailor suit is in evidence .
Another great picture Tony! What could get you into the Christmas spirit more than shooting a cannon at advancing toy soldiers, while wearing uniforms, next to the Christmas tree? It sounds like the perfect day to me!

DeleteMany great memories of Christmas days with one of the big Airfix boxed sets and my father indulging me with a game when the dinner dishes had been cleared up! Yes hats while playing should be mandatory, not too sure about the sailor suit though!
