A glimpse from the distant past .

A rather smart Victorian/Edwardian boy with a  very nice fort and collection of Britains (?) figures , freshly reaped from Facebook . I must stress it's not a photo of my good self as a child, although I do come from when the world was in black and white .

  1. Fantastic image - proud owner (Sunday best?), impressive castle, figures and terrain.

Strangely at odds with the brick terrace garden? I have a couple of pictures of family photographed in a similar back yard / garden.

  3. What a terrific photo. Is the castle sitting on a cloth base that was rigged up for the photo or do you think it more permanent?

  4. I wonder if the fort was home made or bought?
