I'm indebted to my friend 'R' for telling me about this podcast , very interesting and scholarly with over 200 episodes about various subjects of World War Two .Home – We Have Ways of Making You Talk Podcast (wehavewayspod.com) Just been listening about the British Auxiliary units who were to be the British resistance in the event of the German invasion , still shrouded in mystery after all these years .

  1. I listened to that particular post a few weeks ago as a painting accompaniment. Amazing stuff.

    It’s generally an interesting podcast anyway, but that was especially good.

    Another good one is ‘The Rest is History’.

    It has a local section for many parts of the country. Based on this I did some digging around in archives for my local area (not saying where) for the main commanding and liaison officers who turned out to be interesting characters.
