Schuamburg-Lippe-Buckeberg Artillery Battery.

After a break in painting 40mm SYW figures I decided to start again by finishing off the Schuamburg-Lippe-Buckeberg artillery , so I cast up another crew, a couple of guns (the original crew were borrowing a French gun - and they wanted it back !) and a mounted battery commander . Next are the limber and horse teams for the guns and the limbers are right swines to cast up !

  1. One of my personal favorites. Lovely. Were I to start over with 18th century figures, after eight years of 28-30mm figures, I'd choose the PA figures. Yours look marvelous.

    Best Regards,

    1. Thanks for the kind words - as I get older I find them easier to paint and they are very 'toy soldiery'

  2. Nicely done as always, they look as if they mean business.

  3. I love your painting technique with the PA figures. Did you ever do post about your painting style for these?
